We are seeking to hire aSenior Electrical Superintendentto join our company inBoise, Idaho.You will be responsible for overseeing all electrical construction activities, this role is in the semi-conductor industry
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise all electrical installation activities for semiconductor fab construction (tool install, cleanroom systems, power distribution, etc.)
· Manage and coordinate subcontractors in line with client standards, schedules, and safety expectations
· Ensure compliance with U.S. codes (NEC, NFPA, OSHA) and client-specific EHS and quality requirements
· Interface with design engineering, tool vendors, and other disciplines to resolve constructability and integration issues
· Review IFC drawings, specs, and RFIs; drive field execution in line with design intent
· Monitor progress against schedule (Primavera/MS Project) and support cost control and forecasting
· Lead daily coordination meetings, safety briefings, and reporting to project stakeholders
· Oversee QA/QC inspections, system turnover, commissioning, and final handover documentation
· Support tool hook-up activities including high-purity systems, critical power, and controls integration
Authority:
· You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
· Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.
Requirements
· Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
· 10 years’ experience in industrial or semiconductor construction (fab experience strongly preferred)
· Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA regulations, and cleanroom construction practices
· Proven experience managing large subcontractor teams in fast-paced, high-spec projects
· Experience with semiconductor systems (e.g., MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, cleanroom power, controls)
· Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and tool installation drawings
· Proficiency in project controls and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
· Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
· High focus on safety, quality, and strict procedural compliance (permit-to-work, LOTO, etc.)
