Sr. Principle Engineer of External Manufacturing

onsemiis seeking for an self-driven and motivated Sr. Principle Engineer to engage, communicate and collaborate with internal cross functional stakeholders on NPD (New Product Development) , Corporate Strategic Projects. The Engineer will gather, comprehend & align on the program scope, product requirement & release plan from the internal stakeholders and thereafter to work together to drive and communicate with Management and downstream key stakeholders for decision and effective program planning/ execution.

• Build contact matrix & communication platform with respective stakeholders of Business Units , Central Engineering, Procurement & Global Supply Operation & other teams responsible for NPD & insource/outsource/transfer programs
• Interface with Business Units counterpart to gather the product technology roadmap & interact with downstream cross functional owners
• Consolidate NPD information from Central Engineering (CE) on packaging roadmap & new part release plan.
• Drive communication, phase gate review by downstream (NPI/Project management/Operation) according to NPD procedure
• Work with Procurement & Global Supply Chain Operation counterpart on insource/outsource & other strategic programs requirement
• Organize and demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to shifting priorities to meet business & organization needs

• Minimum of BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering , Material Science / Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in Power and or Image Sensing products in application, assembly, and test for both automotive and industrial will be an added advantage
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with Semiconductor Technology Development, Packaging Assembly or Test, Product Engineering, Program Management
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong ability on articulation of situation and actions generation to drive next steps
• Strategic thinking and experience in executing joint development projects
• Ability to drive project across organization and culture in a fast-paced environment . Must have a strong sense of urgency, responding quickly and accurately to stakeholders and management

onsemiis excited to share the base salary range for this position is $164,05.00 to $279,105.00 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
